Acclaimed flutist Elisabet Franch makes her Sony Classical debut with her work FRANCH PLAYS FRANCK, a tribute to composer César Franck, in the year that marks the bicentennial of his birth.

Composer and pianist Albert Guinovart accompanies Elisabet Franch on this album, offering us a brilliant performance that encompasses the delicate arrangements for flute of the works chosen with care by the flutist.

In addition to presenting the mythical Sonata en La Mayor by César Franck and the song by the same composer Aimer, FRANCH PLAYS FRANCK, it includes the world's first recording of the Sonata for violin and piano No. 2 Op. 13 by Edvard Grieg, in an edition expressly made by the interpreter for flute and piano.
